Human beings are made to be loved. Things are made to be used.
From one perspective, I see our World is in a state of debt, despair, anguish, death and war, because human beings are being used, and Things are being Loved…..

Great perspective. People have used one another for so long they are desensitized to emotion...mainly love. They are with so many and use them for lust there is no bonding, no emotional ties, hence no love. Is a sad state of affairs..ha ha no pun intended.... Just makes for a lonely world.

| I feel as you do there are alot of things going wrong in todays world. The answer could be alot of things the times too much crime on tv. to many gangs all the kids that get in trouble. Killings, no jobs for so many older people having to work to survive. Young people having to work two and three jobs. cost of food and just living.

| All the people in charge is what's wrong for starters......the world is all about money and greed.....the economy sucks. It's hard to just make ends meet....the rich get richer, the poor get poorer....and I think the presidential choices are just horrible... but other than that Dave life is great!!!

| My Thoughts:
The things that are wrong with the world today are the things that were wrong with the word starting at day one. People - Failing to understand that we aren't all alike and not taking the time to get to know and understand one who is different. Religions Failing to understand that we don't all worship the same way and casting aspersions on those who worship differently., or professing that "my God is better than your God" Politics This goes back to People. Failing to understand that we don't always think alike. War Totally unnessary. There are peaceful ways to settle differences, but we haven't learned them yet. We are still in the primative, dark ages about this with our "caveman" ways of thinking. There has not once, ever been a need for war, but we created them only because this nation or group felt superior to that nation, or group and wanted to "teach a lesson" to this nation, or group, or that nation, or group. This is not even close to logical thinking, or reasoning. This is "caveman" thinking. We have come a a long distance since our caveman days, but we have left logic and reasoning there. The comment that togot made is a very typical example of this. Someone comes along that's different....toss logic and reasoning out the window. Just shoot them and be done with it. How primative!

| Yes! Of course. I was once young like you. I was crammed full of piss and vinegar and I went to war. I spent three years in Vietnam as a Medic with the 5th. Special Forces Group. I saw a lot of good men die needlessly. I saw a lot of good men go home totally crippled. There is no necessity for war and there is no glory in it either. There is never a winner in war.

| togot: Join the Army and put in for Infantry. Go do a tour in Iraq and see the horror and carnage of war. I guarantee...you will change your attitude.

| THE UNITED STATES will cease to exzist as we know it in 50 yrs or less. look how far we have fallen in the world today.FROM the greatest manufactureing country that ever was to one that buys everything from dogfood to steel from other countries.WE dont even have a national language anymore.OUR generation has dropped the ball on this one and we cant blame anyone except the people we keep electing over and over again. Main problem IMO has been the use of religion to control people's behavior and actions for the benefit of those in power.
