| I dropped her and son off at the airport a few days ago..as soon as I left the airport road for the highway.. my eyes welled up with tears. They did not spill over, just welled up with Joy and I got the warm fuzzies. 20 miles down the road, my eyes again welled up with tears, and again, did not spill over.
As I pulled into my parking lot at home, something didnt feel right. I looked around the car and found I was alone. She and son should have been there with me, as they had the previous 8 days. My eyes welled up again and this time the tears flowed freely. I had just spent a wonderful week with the love of my life and her son. They fill me up with feelings I have never known, but had always sought.
Now I wait for another 9 weeks to pass before we are reunited for good. I do not question whether or not this is the 1..I know and feel it throughout my entire being..til something or someone or some actions prove different. Period.

| On our second date, he had bought tickets for a comedy club and I was supposed to meet him there. Right before I had to leave I discovered that one of my Pomeranians had gotten out of my yard and was missing.
I called him in an absolute panic, and told him that I couldn't leave until I found the puppy. He left the club and came straight over and spent half the night helping me look for this retarded dog, with flashlights. He never said a word about the waste of the tickets and was so sweet and understanding about my worry over Aoife.
That's when I knew who he was, deep down, and that he was the kind of man I could spend the rest of my life with. It said every thing about his character.

| I had the one with my late wife. We were together for about 13 years. It seemed so right, all along. But the longer we were together, the more I realized the prize that I had be given. And my friends knew this also. It's just the kind of a person she was. You can't really be sure from the onset though. I thought my ex wife was the one too. Right. The one to steer clear of. But, I did get three sons from her, so I didn't leave empty handed.
