I cannot suffer a fool, no matter how good looking, no matter how much money....
To quote "Good Will Hunting"...
My boy is wicked smart.

| Intellect would seem to be the winner here, and I do agree that I am attracted to a really sharp minded lady more than one who is a knockout with an empty mind. But, if she is uncaring as to her appearance, no matter how smart she is, I just can't get fired up!
BUT, if someone is very intelligent, do they not usually strive take excellent care of themselves, with the knowledge they utilize to always seek to make improvements in their lives? True, there is only so much one can do about ones facial appearance, but the body is easily kept fit, and in top condition, with a sharp mind to learn the easiest methods!
Having been in Mensa at one time (I got bored with the "puzzle freaks"), I have seen many ladies who did not care one whit about their appearance though, and so I guess much of it is a matter of perception of one's place in life, and what one desires to accomplish, or achieve.
Personal habits in some cases are attributed to upbringing, and the example set of what a parent sees as important to impart to one's children in the values that they embody.
Look at Albert Einstein, as he was a mess to look at, but with an IQ of 186, he managed to formulate the Theory of Relativity!

Yes, but can we all suffer a broke troll who's smart as a pike?
Personally, if I was given a choice between smart or cute, I'd choose both. But if I could pick only one, I'd choose neither of the two poor candidates, even if these dates are each sweet as candy.
I'd rather have someone who looks smart, and has a beautiful mind. I want someone who's smart inside and out.
Whether I'll ever get my wish is not for me to know or decide.

| Outer beauty is a reflection of the inner beauty. Intelligence is measured by numbers. Looks are measured by the beholder. Both will diminish as we age, but for me, if the inner beauty remains throughout a couple's life together, that is more important to me. Having the intelligence to remember is always will be the key.
