well intelligence but soo much more than that....more like the way they treat you, how much you love one another, the things you do for another...to me that makes a guy that much more sexier

Intelligience of course. What can you do with a hot goodlooking man who the minute he opens his mouth he has nothing intelligent to say? How are you going to take a "hot guy" who can not speak correctly to a office affair? The only thing you can do with him is behind closed doors. Something he doesn't even need to open his mouth and speak about. Not only that if a man can not feed your mind you will definetely get bored and turn to someone else. It is amazing who some may see as not goodlooking but you might see as very goodlooking just because they provide everything you need emotionally, mentally etc etc. If you fall for what is on the inside then the outside will never ever disappoint you.

Not sure either is more than a distraction.

Looks don't matter nor does intelligence if they aren't the right person.

If they are the right person.. then i don't think they matter either.

Neither are deciding factors for me within reason. Average is just fine.

wisdom might be nice tho.

I go for personality. A person can have a high IQ but has the common sense of a 2 year old. So neither is more important.

Well the right answer would be intelligence, I'm not always going to go for the easy right answer looks are important too. Now take away both and say chemestry everyone has had that feeling when talking with someone that electric jolt or tingle go up your spine when communicating. That would be chemestry. Of course not all of us listen like me. Hense being divorced. Everyone I have talked to in my travels that have long loving relationships say the same thing. "They just knew he or she was the one." So I'm going to say niether is more important than the other. I like all who are looking for love long to be able to tell people that come into my life " that I just knew she was the one"
