| I have always wondered how long should it before he calls or I call after a date...And should it be he that calls? I would certainly want to know that he was thinking of me afterwards and had a good time.

| I've always heard mention there's some " 3 day rule" lol,,,,,,not sure who decided that, but i've heard it from various people for many years now, i beleive i've even heard it within a few movies. lol

I've seen lots of general rules on this subject and not one of them are tailored to any specific situation. There is this stigma about appearing needy or over exuberant by calling immediately or too often after a date. So to compensate for that some advice calls for waiting three days. Screw all of that.
I live life intentionally. That means that if you and I went on a date I would ask you right after that if it'd be ok to call you after we both get home becasue that is what I would like to do. Depending on your feedback would depend on whether I call you then or not. I would also call you the next day to gab and possibly set up another date and depending on your feedback whatever happens happens.
Communication is the key.

| Screw the three day rule or worrying about being needy.
If I had a good time on a date, I ask for another one before it ends, without specifying when or where. If she says yes, I'll say that I'll call in the next couple of days, or she's welcome to call me if she has any great date ideas. (Depending on who has who's number).
It gives both of us a chance to change our minds.
I do make a point of asking my first date to call me when she gets home so that I know she arrived safely.

| safety is always important. but if he/she is just testing the waters after so long. he/she just maybe a little shy or to chicken to say: sorry no longer interested. so hang in there and if he calls play it cool,ok? good luck!
