My body gets older. Never having been vain, I can accept that. I have tolerated getting facial hair,
and the requsite painful waxing. Each time I buy a new bra, it requires ever more reinforcement - what's next...rebar?
My memory is poor, and my mind completely goes who knows where sometimes, leaving me sitting looking stupid, unable to collect my thoughts, because they are..well..gone for a spell. My teeth are still ok, except I hear the rumblings - they are talking retirement.
My belly shamelessly refuses to be restrained.

My 'fluffs' become more thunderous, the poor cat doesn't know which way to run. Which brings me to my current rant. I am wearing shorts today, and I noticed a hair poking. These are not short shorts, so I thought WTF.
I started pulling, and pulling, and pulling, extruding at least 14". Well, of course I am in shock. Have I not suffered enough indignities with this body, that I now need to pull a 14" hair out of my ass? THEN phew! I realized, having long hair, and having just showered and dressed, obviously one had dislodged from my head, somehow clung, and hence shown up in this most peculiar fashion.

I am indeed loosing my tolerance with getting older, and the humiliation thereof!

Hi, sweet lady!

I hope it came across as intended: humor (I was very bored today!)
Strange feeling though, when that sucker kept comin' and comin'.

Love it! Like garnetlady I was a little taken in by your story. I couldn't imagine the panic you were feeling. Such a comical relief to read the outcome. Thanks for the giggle, 'Rose.

Indeed Rose. Had me running scared in the beginning...but your humor of the situation rang loud and clear. Very amusing and thanks for sharing.

Thank you for the feedback. Occasionally I try my hand at humor - sometimes it works; sometimes it doesn't!
I'm always happy when it does! (it is harder written than spoken)
