| Amazing and congratulations. Really even a picture is a shadow as I have never met anyone who looks like the picture to date anyway. Until the actual meet and the persons personality enters you dont really know what they look like anyway.

| some folks may have a legitimate reason as to y they have a shadow for a pic. but let's b realistic. most of these shadow ppl r fake, or, because they defiantely have something to hide, for a variety of reasons. look, this is an online dating site. if u have to start out a friendship, or a relationship, hiding in the shadows, then what kind of friend or relationship lies ahead?

Shadows are fake huh? Have a good read on this issue and count how many said that the ones with pics have little to be desired and are also phoney. It is a 50/50 street on this issue, some are fake and no pics and some are fake with a picture. And then there are those here that have nothing to hide, but our security is important for a reason so no pictures are posted.
What I do not understand is why not talk and see about ones character then ask for a photo over a private email address....Oh do not tell me you are not going to disclose your email address are you so you can get a picture..........is that not the same as posting No Picture!!?....Hiding for sure...............and there are ways to set up an email to still keep your privacy and be anon.

Good post 924. I don't see why everyone complains about a profile with no pic. It's a waste of time to worry about such small details. If a person doesn't like to see a profile with no pic, then why not move along to one that does? Just move along and don't get bent and heated about it.
Like you said, if they are intrigued and want to see a pic, they should ask that they have one sent one to their private email address. No fuss, no worry.
There was a thread earlier started by someone who actually said it should be a "requirement" that a profile have a minimum of two pics! LMAO
