| What is your opinion of the Dr. Phil Show covering the $50,000 bail for the Florida teen who participated in the beating of the 16-year-old girl with the intention of having her on his show? Because of the media storm already brewing around this action, news outlets are saying his staff announced that plans for that show have already been cancelled.

| Perhaps he thought he could get her to open up about the reasoning (or lack thereof) for such behavior so that we could all learn something. But at what cost? Ratings for his show? A teen who will gain huge attention and perhaps further monetary offers for her repugnant behavior? The only thing I need to learn is that the judicial system and every citizen in this country sends all six teens a clear message that their actions were HORRIBLE and won't be tolerated. If they must be the ones used as an example to show how this behavior will be treated, so be it. My own daughter was attacked and badly beaten by a fellow classmate when she was in eighth grade right inside her school. The school administration did everything they could to cover it up including threatening me when I tried to uncover what had happened. I have often wondered what has happened to the girl who attacked my daughter. I know she received a three-day suspension but no counseling or other corrective action was ever taken and the school offered my daughter no assistance wih her injuries. What a wonderful example of the wisdom of our "highly educated" educational leadership.

| this morning on fox, their version of good morning America, they had a shrink and a lawyer. the lawyer said dr phil overstepped his bounds by bailing her out. the agreement was she would come on his show and tell her side. well, the atty made the comment that no way jose, if she was my client. that would jeopardize any chance of a fair trial she might have. I think ole dr phil has rushed into another britney spears situation. thanks for getting our daughter out of jail.. now get lost. what's he going to do? revoke her bail and take the bad publicity?
