| i have never met anyone on here or on other sites.... i met on person off the internet we talked for almost a year before we met. talking on the phone and internet and when we finally met he seemed to be totally different then the way he was.

| Being a recent transplant from michigan I've found this site to be a great way to meet people from all over.I've even "met" a few ladies from out here.None in person yet, but I'm hopeful someday that changes.
In the meantime the forums are a great way to amuse myself, and learn more about a bunch of different topics.My opinions have even sparked an interest in some that otherwise would'nt know that I even existed.

| I went way outside of my comfort zone, and tried to set up 2 different midwest group "Meet & Greets" for DHU members in this region (basically eastern Nebraska and western Iowa).
I thought if we could actually meet other members in person, it would make the DHU venture more realistic. Maybe it was to bold of an idea, or just poor timeing. Very few members were interested in meeting. Eventually due to "whatever?" the plans fell to the wayside.
I haven't met anyone. Even though there are a few within easy driving distance.
It seems that there is an over abundance of single males in this region, and fewer females.

| There are real "hookups" on here. I have met a few, most of which I really didn't care for in person, but there was one special one. That one did become a love interest. It just didn't happen at the right time in each others lives though. We are still friends. So have faith and keep looking for the "right one". One day it will happen.

| I am currently dating eyeswideopened. And, we have both made our profiles invisible as of yesterday so as to misrepresent ourselves. (I was getting emails from women with romantic interests even though my profile clearly indicated I was dating someone and just here for the fora. Though, I've also received plenty of polite encouraging ones as well -- thanks!)
