Because too many peopple are hung up on looks and some crazy fantasy about what the other person has to act like or be like and forget that they aren't perfect themselves.

Because if it was easy to find a relationship, what challenges would there be in life?

You gotta get out and be nice and forward. Everyone says helloback at least once. And when they see you 3 times or more you become familiar to them and they speak much easier. But you must get past the cold start and communicate. And no bull just straight up politeness works.

missyroo you are so right, most people I have dated have been to the same places I have for years and sometimes live just a few blocks away.

I think that it's gonna be hard to find while your looking. You might try instead just to surround yourself with friends and then see what happens over time with that. I think if your looking for a relationship, your probably looking for the wrong reasons, and probably for the wrong things.

I think a lot of people blow by friendships that could have been, because they were so busy looking for a relationship. I dont think they stick around long enough for anything real to develop. I think if your looking for a relationship you might as well be looking for a russian bride or something. I'm not sure what the success rates there are.

To find new friends in your life try thinking of some activity that interests you, then go do it. If you spend time around new people and they share interests your bound to make a few friends just by proximity and common interests. Try something small yet new in your life every day or every week.. Stuff will slowly change to get you out of your rut i think.

Just being here is probably something new and different, so your off to a good start.

Maybe you are trying to hard!!!! Try finding a friend first that has things in common with you. Just remember, in a good relationship your partner must first be your best friend.
