| You are very LUCKY she told you. At least that shows she is honest!! If you watch any television you know there is NO cure for Herpes. There is a medicine one can take to HELP prevent the spread to their partner. It can spread even when there are no signs (no outbreak) in the affected partner...Good luck...READ, get information B 4 U decide to make love!!

| There is a prescription she can take to protect the both of you. Abstinence is the best during break outs (genital). I saw this on TV - don't have experience in it.

| her honesty almost makes her a keeper. I had a girl that was very honest about having herpes. We ended up not hooking up because of it but she understood. You need to ask yourself if you are willing to chance and if you can live with it if you get it?

| I personally could not risk it...........you can get it even when there is not signs of it.
This is why the idea of FWB and fbuddies is a scary thought to me........just because you are doing it with only each other doesn't mean you don't have it........it is a std that has to be particularly tested for........but I could be wrong.

then the chance of a lifetime was lost to have a wonderful relationship with that special person.
we would both loose.

| She already has it and doesn't need protection...but the point of if you do get it make sure you can live with it, and if the relationship doesn't work out, would you be as honest as she was and take the chance of rejection??? I think I would have to bow out...TJMT

| I would have to really be sure and really love her before I did it. Just make 100% sure that she is who you want before you sleep with her cause what you can get will change you forever if you got it. You two could split later but you could never split with what you may catch.

| you know u can get { hsv1 cole sore } on your penis or vagina. a person can have a cole sore with no out break signs and give you oral sex ,however... the virus is still their and it can be transfered to the penis or vagina and u may never know your a infected untill u have a blood test

| having sex with someone who has herpes is brave i guess. it's a risk i would never take though. i saw an add in a newspaper in the personals by a guy who said he has herpes, i guess he was looking for a girl with herpes.
