| no one really needs apartner.......... we are pretty self sufficient.....its that old human instinct.......Lust, reproducing, etc etc...........humans think with their genitals without knowing it...............they think with their minds when its work related...........etc.............BUT......as we get older.......the need for companionship becomes dominating...............none of us want to grow old alone!!......... | yeah.....thats reality.......... so u live ya whole life alone for fear that ya partner is gonna pass b4 u..........hey my mum and dad had 44 years of a great marriage b4 my mum passed then 5 years later dad went......... but there was no regrets on his bhalf.....its the memories and the life they had together that mattered....

| Im not to sure about the question you are asking....do you mean life partner sex partner marriage partner????? In most cases that I've come across the answer is usually based on financial needs meaning that its more so for survial an income due to not being able to make it on ones own so another paycheck. Next would be sex an reproduction pretty self explainitory on that part...also for companionship as to not spend life alone an someone to make memories with. Way to many reasons to go over as to why people seek out a partner. I do also believe that you do not need a partner to be happy I've known of plenty of people that don't wish or want a relationship an opt to be by themselves but that is the choice they made. JMO
