| When I'm done, I'm done. Why bother trying to convince that person that they lost the next greatest thing to sliced bread?
Don't people as a general rule either do one of two things?
Oh yeah?!!! Well you suck eggs because....
or
You can't make it/live/function w/o me...

| If the differences are irreconcilable, whether that's my decision or his, I have already said anything that mattered, and I could talk 'til I'm blue in the face with no desirable result.
Anybody remember the Far Side cartoon with the man talking to the dog? First frame is labelled "you say..." and the caption is "Ginger, you are such a good dog..." Second frame is labelled "she hears..." and the caption is "Ginger, blah blah blah blah blah".

| If I have chosen to end a relationship, I will most certainly tell the person why, I think it's only fair. But, after the initial conversation and explanation, there would be no more communication about it, unless that person requested it due to a need to feel closure. However, if he has ended the relationship and has told me why, regardless of the reason, I will move on.
I believe that arguing should have a purpose/goal. Once you've achieved the purpose/goal, the arguement should end. Bickering back and forth just to get the last word is not productive, it's destructive.
If someone wants the last word, let them have it. Only they have to live with it, I've already moved along.
