1. Damn right! I'm gonna have my say!
2. Who cares if you're not trying to get back together?

If a relationship has met your definition of "beyond repair," do you have to put in your two cents worth and tell them why they are no longer worthy of you and/or your love or time?

If they blow you off, and you don't want it to go on either, but you think they misjudged you or said something you disagreed with, do you feel the uncontrollable urge to set them straight? If so, do you indulge it?

If you each still disagree, will you ever achieve closure? Isn't there a point where you just figure it's not worth the tit for tat?

If he does something where I feel I MUST "set him straight," yes, I'm going to have my say. After all, when the relationship is over, its over. I can get "closure" just by saying what I feel needs to be said. I'm rather "disgustingly kind," though. That's why I have been known as "gr8stwoman," a nickname given by my exes.

well mine is defined as way way beyond repair.
I do put my 2 cents in only due too a business we still run together.
also I have no problem giving my 2 cents on my daughter's future.

As for my marriage, I really don't care and have not for a long time.
I know there was a lot of miss judging and disagreeing but it's not worth
my time to set it straight.

so no I wont indulge it.

Distance is a great safety Buffer, I like at least 100 Miles...

If she is willing to go that far to see me, then I know she ia action orented...

Also at 100 Miles, when the relationship turns South, it don't matter what she say's, because you will never hear it...

Good idea in theory, Cosmo but what happens when they keep following you? I moved 750mi away only to have him pop up 90mi from me. Kinda' like dog sh*t on my shoe.......

What's the point?

I'm more concerned if I've let the physical relationship go further than I would have liked in the hope that the relationship would have some sense of permanence.

My only real concern is whether we are breaking up over some misunderstanding or miscommunication.

Good point, old school!

If you know the differences are irreconcilable, do you still feel the need to have your say? Take your parting shots?
