| Why are people on this sight that are here to "make friends"....this is a DATING site people.  I have ENOUGH friends.....more than i have the time to hang out with them all as it is unless it is as a group.....I have over 150 numbers of "close" friends in my cell..... I DON'T need friends. If people are on here for the express purpose of "finding friends".....let them get a fricken [blocked site] or a [blocked site] page. This site is called " DATE HOOKUP "  not fricken " FIND A FRIEND ".  I don't know about the rest of you, but my time is to valuble to waste. small talk in a forum is one thing......but realy, let us not loose sight of the big picture here! Am I the ONLY one that feels like this?

| I feel you need to be friends before you can be anything more. So yes I want to make friends here. PLUS there are a lot of really cool people here and I have made what I would consider friends, both male and female!!!

| hi sino if I could offer an opinion...people who regularly post on the threads leave a paper trail on their profile so to speak. If someone is interested in dating a person then they can read your posts from your profile and get a better idea of your character. In other words it can be advantageous to post regularly in the threads.
Aside from a site where people just find dates, my experience here has been very educational. I have learned a lot from the experiences of others when they share in threads or send me personal emails.
While I sit around and search or wait for a date on this site...its nice for me, but perhaps not everyone, to have people to chit chat with on the side.
You should also look at making friends as a way of networking...friends can help you find your special friend.

My profile states just looking for friends. I am on this site just for fun and laughs. I am not opposed to finding the "one" from here though. I have found that if you start out as friends on here, it makes both parties more at ease to really find out about them. That would be a hint. At ease, guard down, not getting the cheesy come on lines. Online dating is tough to really find out about one's traits and compatibility with your's. Anyone can say anything to try to win you over.

| I totally agree. I have enough friends. I thought this was a dating site and/or a place to find where other singles can meet. Its true...[blocked site] is a place for friends to share pics and stuff. I understand that you want to be friends with someone while dating but the whole picture is to date!

| When a person is just looking for friends, usually it's stated on their profile. We all come equipped with an "IGNORE" button....too bad a lot of us just can't quite reach it to use it.
