In all honesty, the movie thing seems to be getting redundant. But, in my area, it's about the only place to go other than take a stroll in the park.

I know on my first date with my now ex-wife, we were drivin in town trying to think of somewhere to go, something to do. Being spontaneous, I asked her if she had to be someone the next day. When I was told "no", I replied "You do now!".

We drove to Springfield, MO. I rented out a king suite. Nothing like that happened, just wanted to go all out on a first date. I had remembered when we were just friends that she said she had never been to the BASS PRO SHOP in Springfield. Keep in mind that she was an outdoor person, fishing, camping, 4-wheeling, you name it! So, the next day, that's where we went, then out to eat, went back to the room and set up our new fishing gear. The day after that, we went back home and spent that afternoon fishing. Sure...it wasn't a one night date...but it just felt right. Oh...and I was a gentleman the whole time. She was so excited at Bass Pro (sounds crazy I know) that we held hands the rest of the time there after.

I can't dance and usually don't like to drink so there goes 2 answers. I've never been to a museum and my place is only if you wanted to. I'd have to put down a day in an amusement park or on a picnic...a day at the river with BBQ. Something along those lines.

any one of these sound good, but i'd see what the girl would enjoy. Possibly go to a park, or lake, or some place relaxing and not yet so fancy and specific
