| Yes, I am more interested in the person, however knowing they enjoy their pets does show a measure of campassion, so that is nice to know as well.

| Fine by me--atleast they put up a pic---so many don't. So I get more frustrated by no pics than with pics of animals in them. I put my average mug up--feel everyone else should do the same.

People are almost never allergic to ShihTzu's..
they do not shed, and they love to travel. He stays home
with a house/poochie sitter...if I go away.

| You can tell alot about a person if they like pets. Sometimes the only reason I check someone out is because he is holding a cat or dog. So I say If you don't like the pet in the pic, just move on to another... your probaly not a match with that attitude.

The only pics I have of me, without someone else in the pics, is of me and my dog(s).
I don't looking at pics that have been torn so that the other person can't be seen so I'm going to post a pic that way.
I could post pics of me and my granddaughter but, I don't think her mother, my now ex-daughter in law, would appreciate it.
My dogs are my best friends and they are a large part of my life.
Ladies, if you don't like dogs sorry about that!

| Most people think of their pets as their children. If given a choice, their pets would come first over a relationship. I love animals but I had to make that choice at one time for the safety of my son I had to leave my cat behind with my X. I still wonder how the cat is doing for I have no way of knowing what happened to him. If I had to make the choice over again, I still choose my son.

| Hurrah for the animal lovers! Everyone should be thankful to those who take pictures with their animals. If you do not like animals..then you know not to contact that person. I have a dog named Gabby, she is a shitzhu. I love her like a child. She loves me too. She is my companion. She will never leave, she will never grow up and move off and get married, and she never back talks me.
I have dated men who do not approve of animals in the house. I say, buh bye! I have seen so many people get pets and put them in the back yard and never play with them, and gripe when they bark. Or people who get kittens and then as they grow up and aren't all cute and cuddly, they put it outside because the cat box clean up is too much work. How many times have you driven down the road and saw an animal who was run over? Every day.
If you have never bonded with an animal, you do not know the type of love you are missing. Personally, I seek only animal lovers. I feel that someone who truly knows how to love, appreciates and cares for all living things.
