| I've met gals from dating sites rather quickly. Some more quickly than I thought. As long as they feel safe, fine. And I wouldn't want to meet them if they were afraid of their own shadow anyway. I always tell them to meet me in the safest place possible. Hell, I'd meet them at the police station, I could care less. Couldn't get much safer than that.

| you are not seeing someone until you see them in person , talk is cheep , like the profiles , mine is me, how i feel, some are 20 yr old pictures, before they had the 2.5 children that, they did not tell you about either , you have to weed through them in real life, after you do it here. you can chat on line 2 mos and not get what you get in a 30 min lunch.

| I am very new to the online dating thing but I am very careful sorry if that annoys u guys then I guess Im not worth the time but I have two kids that I am also putting out there as well so the decisions that I make for my benefit affect them. A gals gotta be careful. I chat for awhile then move to the phone from there its a date and I have been able to weed out a few that I picked up on things thru the emails and or phone conversations. I have went on dates as well some stopped there. Even though u take all those precautions there r those that r good at decieving. I have also made some great friends!!! But I would never jus get a email and go off and meet the guy. Gotta take the effort to try to be as cautious as possible. Its alittle different u dont have to worry u might not get to come home to ur kids after the date, women do. Sorry guys but u do need to think about it.

| i guess i am here to date, i have enough friends in my life, but more friends are great with me. but definitely time to start dating again, the only problem is most are just too far away. it sucks. but i have a great time chatting with them and you never really know what the future holds. summer is on the way very shortly.

| Well, cajunmister. Isnt the purpose of dating to get to know someone. You dont always know they are a jerk until you do go out with them. There are some very charming, nice, friendly men out there. Then once you go out with them, they change. So there!

| i have been here only a short time and i am beginning to think that there is more drama here
than in the 14yrs of my marriage. the players, haters, queens, kings, princes, princesses, jokers, and paupers, even a few wolves and other types of monsters.
i don't blame the ladies for being cautious... the world we live in is not safe, not even here on the net. i checked out a couple other sites and was not overly impressed.
i was going to give up myself, but people on DH said to hang in there. so, here i still am, waiting.
Huck, be patient and don't give up on your dream of finding someone to date.

| Of course I want to date, that's why I am here. And it also seems as though there are plenty of men in my area but they aren't interested in me . . . so I keep sending out emails to see if someone is interested. I know some have told me that I look better in person, so maybe my profile needs some work. Oh well. I also think that after a few emails and a few calls I want to meet. It seems like the logical thing to do rather than spend all my time on the computer. And today is a beautiful day. I had to come inside and cool off. Why waste all that sitting at a computer? I don't mind talking to men who may be far away, maybe they will want to relocate.  Anybody interest in moving to Vegas?
