| Brain Mapping with electrodes to try and find the foci by centralizing the location of my epileptic seizures (28 years now). This was on March 4th on this year. Just getting past the recovery period.
Complete failure, nothing found.
How are you doing? I hope well with all God's will...
On epilepsy.com there are so many adverse stories.

| WOW!!!! 5 years??? If only I could be so lucky. I too, have epilepsy. I was born with it, raised with it and dealt with it. I had my operation in Montreal in 1979, "YA", I was awake for the whole painful thing. I've being hit by Cars, Trucks, moving Trains, pulled from pools 3,500 times and I still won't give up.
I have my spells every day. Just think "5 years"? WOW!!! What a nice thought. One with a lot of experience.
shy man,
Dan

| Shyman I have a lot of respect for you with having had the surgery while awake. I was always wondering what it would have been like to have had it while being awake for the whole thing. But since you said it was painfull I'm glad I didn't have it while I was awake.

| I had a Right Temporal Lobe ectomy on July 11, 2005 and have only had 2 seizures since then. I am still on two medications but have slowly been coming off of them. I finally got my life back and am so greatful for it. It has made me have a better outlook on life. I am sorry to hear that things have not gone better for the rest of you. God Bless you.

| Thank everybody for their blessings and continuances. James I pass all of my blessings too your brother. The brain I have found can be of its own with frustration in what it wants to do and this will make him smile. I wish everybody luck and remember Gods eyes are watching and never tearful as you only need pray more and ask questions to answer his.
Have a good day.

| i had a blood clot removed from my brain in 1984 when i was eleven yrs. old that i got from a drunk driver with no headlights on hitting the vehicle i was in. i have had seizures ever since then. in 1998 i had a right temporal lobectomy done in minnesota at mayo and it did nothing for me either but make me worse off. i have worse seizures now than what i did have, i have no prepherial vision in either eyes and went through the most pain, suffering, and misery that i have ever experienced. biggest mistake i would say that i ever made or ever could make. i wouldn't reccomend it to nobody. so if you had the surgery and are better than you were . . . . . . . . you should consider yourself lucky and thank the Lord above everyday and night!

| I had an animism right behind my left optic nerve in ’99. It bled 5 times that I know of. I am very blessed that the brain damage doesn’t affect me except in ways that are not noticeable. I have a few headaches a month but it doesn’t slow me down anymore.

| I've never had it, and refuse to get it for my epilepsy. I accept my life as it is, since my last full blown seizure was over ten years ago.
