| I am so sick and tired of hearing that guys don't want to date fat chicks b/c they are lazy. Why do you guys always assume that all fat people are lazy? I am rarely at home, I love to swim, dance, hike, camp, canoe, rafting,I do Yoga and I have even tried snowboarding. I am not good at it but that is b/c of my balance not b.c I am lazy. If you don't like fat girls b/c your not attracted to them then that is fine b/c I am a fat girl who isn't attracted to fat guys but why you got to be presumptious and just assume we are all lazy!
Fat girls need love too! And I promise ya fat girls DO try harder b/c of the shallow minded morons who think we can't do anything!

| Its not because there fat really because I'm not like that at all. I used to be like that but its wrong because "fat" chicks are great people. They actually care and have postive things to say not like the hotties who dont really care about you. I'm not trying to stereo type here but as an example lets put it like this. If I was on a date with a "fat" chick we would conversate like social human beings and she would actually have something back to say. On the other hand the hottie in her mind would be like I dont care and respond with : oh really, wow, thats good, OMG, etc... I bet if you asked the hottie a question from your concersation she wouldnt have a clue.
Now back to subject what I have seen and belive its the cause it comes down to APPROVAL.
There friends and family wouldnt approve of the "fat chick. Thank society. So they dont want there friends teasing them about being with someone fat. It lower there status. This country puts a huge perception on your status. Thats why we all want money & hotties.

| I think this has been half answered. Approval from your friends is always up there on the list, and let's face it- people are shallow. But I think another part of the equation here is a lack of confidence. Confident people generally have confident friends. Those with a lot of confidence don't look so much for approval from outward sources. Confidence is attractive, no matter what your size or build.
I think if a girl (or a fat girl in this instance) is confident, she is going to come across that way, and she will be more desirable then her unconfident fat friend. She's going to get dates, boyfriends, etc without a problem. The other girl... not so much.
Where do I get this idea? From myself and from friends who are big girls. The ones that know who they are and what they are worth catch better boyfriends and friends in general then our skinny, pretty, not so confident friends do because they know who they are and aren't going to settle.
I don't think fat has anywhere near as much to do with it.

| I am comfortable with who I am and it's not that I can't get a guy. I am a confident big blonde, and gorgeous women. I just can't stand these stupid piss-ants who don't think before they speak. Just b/c a person is fat doesn't mean that they are lazy. If a guy doesn't pick me then they are missing out at least that way I know right away that he wasn't worth my time. 
Thanks ya'll for putting your two cents in on that one. I really just needed to rant!

| i no wat u mean i dont het called lazy but guys dont go for the bigger chickes b/c they rather the up themselves skinny chicks who can walk aroun half maked and all that. im a bigger gal and i have a great personality but guys dont get to see that b/c they cant get past the fat factor to see what kinda ppl we are, and its not fair, erveryonr deserves a chanc!!!!!! xoxox

let me point out that there has been scientific studies in which it is possible to ingerit a certain gene during conception that can determine if you will be on the other side. sometimes it cannot be avoided.
i posted a similar thread this morning in the general discussions forum (i think) aobut guys who discriminate against big women. i prolly should have worded that out better and now theres some lil thread war going on lol. if u want check it out, its entitled "why do guys discriminate against bigger females??* (something along those lines)
all men ive been with have dated bigger chicks, and they enjoy it. not to get too raunchy on here but they say that intercourse with a bigger female tends to be alot better because they can take more and for some other reasons as well.
lemme say this to all men out there:

| Im not gonna sit here and bullshit. I dont like "fat" girls because to me, its gross. But there is a differnce between fat, and big. Im not gonna even touch this, cause im sure Ill piss a whole shit load of people off. I have alot of "Large" (i dont like fat cause its to degradeing of a word) people in my family, and its flat out nasty. This one large chick tried to take me home home one night from the bar, thought cause i was drunk she was gonna get some, the b*tch got naked when i was pissin, i came out of the bathroom, and had to run right back in and throw up. Im scarred for life. The vomiting was NOT liquor induced either. But thats my preferance and opinons, and just like a a**hole, everyone has em.

| unfortunately its difficult for some guys to overcome certain physical traits, it seems that even from birth we are being programmed to steer toward the anorexic model versus the velumptious. but, society can be quite diverse so theres always someone out there for you. you seem to have your head on straight but ill be a male spokesman and apoligize on behalf of the male gender. best of luck to you.
