| I don't think it is ok, for the man OR woman of that age. And the biggest of my reasons is it's NOT FAIR TO THE CHILD. My opinions are formed from having kids with a much older man. He was 36 when we had our first.
The older men online looking for young women for babies is beyond ridiculous and selfish in my opinion. Children are not some status symbol, legacy, or measure of your manhood!

| No, its not as long as you have the energy to take care of an infant. For me, I can't have more children, so its not an option. However, even if I could, I wouldn't at my age. My children are older and I can't imagine going through the infant stage again!

| Had one at 18, the second at 31, and from that experience, would never even think of having one at 38.

| Oh I know it happens, just not to me! And I have always wondered if that is why men 35 and over would consider any woman in their early 20s. Looking for baby machines, not partners. I mean seriously, how much could a 22 year old and a 42 year old have in common?

| The age difference is too large. Agree with gypsy entirely with regard to the fact that in all probability, that there is little in common between a 20 and 40yr old. But, if there was "true love and emotional compatability" - age could be no barrier.
But again, my first opinion, is as stated in the former.

| not true at all ,most women in there 20s that Ive met like the same music as I do.they don't have a" been there ,done that attitude" this is what turns me off about older women.They think they know and have done everything already.kills the fun in a relationship.
