I have been in an abusive relationship for some time. This relationship diverts my attentions from the task at hand and prevents me from taking the time to stop and smell the roses. Instead of enjoying the people I have around me, I am constantly feeding this shitty ass relationship.

We had an incident at the bar last night, and it lead to me ending the relationship today. I am breaking free...

Cell Phone... It's over.

I swear to Christ. Over the last 3 years I have been so attached to my cell phone that if it had an orifice I would be f*cking the damn thing. The std I would get would be a brain tumor and believe me, my bill is the same amount I spend on dating. Every time I get in the f*cking car, I jump on the phone. My battery is always low, and I almost get killed in the car.

Then last night as I was responding to text messages and taking calls instead of enjoying the company of my friends.

I dropped it.

Then it stopped working.

Now at first I was about to have a mental f*cking break down. I tried to fix it and figured odd ways to make calls by powering the phone on and off and all that f*cking shit. Then the battery died and I couldn't get it started. So I had to move on. The results were incredible.

I listened to the radio in the car and was treated to the likes of The Killers, some old school Faith No More, and the brand new Smashing Pumpkins song.

While at the pool today, instead of sending text messages and hearing about gossip on the phone, I actually read a f*cking book. A whole book, a good book. This book.

I drove home safe. My attention was on the road.

Now I could understand if I was on the phone with work all of the time or had serious shit going on... But. That's just not the case. All I do is bullshit on that thing. I will scroll through the phone book looking for someone to shoot the shit with. No longer. This sick relationship is over.

There was a time where we didn't have cell phones. Remember that? It wasn't that long ago. We lived didn't we? Every where I look I see people ignoring their kids, ignoring the rules of the road, and all that...because we can access each other too easily. By the end of the day, you can't tell your spouse or significant other about your day...because you have been talking to them all day. Do we need too?

I will admit, there was one person out there it tortured me not to talk to. I guess you'll have to figure it out.

I like to leave mine by its self once in awhile .
Gives me time to think and ponder the relationship.
We don't always have a comfortable relationship .
She's always on my hip ,at my side and sleeps close to me every night .
We need our time away . It help to build a more sound ,toned between us.
I put her on vibrate when I'm feeling playful.

Edited becuase , I missed spelled .

It's a love/hate thing. I love it when I need it for work. I hate it when it rings for work. I just had to replace mine because I drove off and left it on the top of the truck, not one of my more brilliant moves but I sure was lost till I got to alltel.
