There's this guy who I started talking to, and he seems real nice and he makes me laugh he has a good sense of humor. So I decided to give him a call and he just wasnt how I pictured him sounding. Nothing against him but now I'm not so sure he's what I've always dreamed of. Should I look past the voice and continue seeing him for who he is, or give up now before someone gets hurt and I'm stuck with that voice in my head driving me nuts for months because of guilt???

you could try to look past the voice..but from previous experience.it will annoy the hell out of you in the future, no matter how nice/funny/wonderful it is!!

Personality/character is very important...however, if his voice drives you nuts now think about how much it will in after a few years. As a guy, I wouldn't want to date someone if my voice bothered them. JMO

No one is perfect in this world I'm pretty sure of that. I'm almost positive you have some flaws on you which that guy would deal with. Its better to give it a try then to regret it later when he finds someone better then you that can put up with his voice.

If it has bothered you enough to ask other people their opinion then I think you should break it off. It will continue to drive you crazy and you can't "convince" your head or heart that you can deal with it. Or, if you really like him that much ask him to be silent. Ha Ha, JK it was a joke!

Look past the voice. His voie doesnt make him who he is. Also, phones can sometimes make people sound different then they actually do.

Things really have changed. I thought it was on the inside that counts? Did I not get the memo that we shouldnt give someone a chance because the sound of their voice? No wonder I dont like talking on the phone, people out there may judge me on my voice!! Try meeting in person, face to face talk is better than the phone anyway that changes a persons voice. How do you picture someones voice?
