| Not to soon, i beleive this on line stuff should be treaded on very carefully, you've read the news, seen the judge shows, etc,etc, etc,.... Take your time, with enough e-mails you can tell over time if the guy is on the up and up.. When they ask for phone numbers, personal e-mail addy's, meeting right away, FLAGS UP big time, don't they care about themselves enough even that you could be some stalker psycho biach, and you sure don't know if they aren't, or worse.. some people are very naive and can't read between the lines, sadly that's why so many have been hurt, and countless of them molested and murdered even. You need to take your time with this stuff. There are some real whacko's on here, hang out enough in the threads and pay close attention, you'll see. Male and female alike, not gender bashing here, equal nut ratio.

| Sorry about the second post to this...BUT, as I stated before I was given a number...now imagine that for some reason the LADY pissed me off...and I was a nut case as curious said...I could easily post her number on ANY site and say ANYTHING about her and she would be recieving phone calls all the time, and I would be in the clear as it would not be my number on callerID. I don't need *67 as I have an unlisted and private phone number it always comes up unlisted, unless I have to unblock it and than I will use my cell. Curious is right - there are some nut cases out there and I don't trust most...hang out on the threads and watch the posts, get an idea about your man...If he doesn't post, that would be a flag for me as well!!!!!

| wow, thanks..... I guess you are all right... The guys just make me feel less than ..if I don't give the digitss (sp sorry).I get too shy about calling unless we have email lots. You really can get a sense about people through their emails. Do you find that true?/ Getting a sense about the person with email???

| i only give out my cell phone number...if i get a whacko, you get zapped.....i have privacy call....you call me even if you have *67, sorry honey, your number is still traced...that dont work anymore like it used to....cell phone numbers can be traced now in certain cases but can be hard to be tracked down......i give out my cell but it is a private number....it will say to the other end, private number calling....restricted caller....but if i find out someone is calling me and harrassing me....expect a knock at your door, and bring an extra pair of clothes with ya, because you are headed to the slammer for harrassment....wohooooooooooooo

| Cherry- Don't give out your home number NOR call from your home number. You can get a disposable cellphone at Wal-Mart for 19.95 that is impossible to trace.

| The Wally World cell phone is a good idea for incoming calls. Calling cards are great for out going calls.

| Always err on the side of caution, several of my friends started by me giving my number out and I'd e mail them to call and they did until we knew each other enough to earn some trust. The walmart phone is a good idea as well. It's a shame there are so many good people on here and yet you still have to look out for the jerks
