It's a wonderful form of belief that increases tolerance, respect and acceptance while lessening hatred, sexism and bigotry.
It also has the added benefit of increasing logical awareness and improving your critical thinking skills.
AND it frees you from having to live in constant fear of that vengeful, murdering psychotic hatemonger of the old testament.

| There were people when Jesus walked the Earth and people today as well, that will never "make the choice" to believe in Him and who He is. The reason is pretty simple. To believe in Jesus Christ, one has to believe/admit they are sinners and allow God to clean up their act. Believing in lies and passing them on to others will never change the fact that He is exactly who He says He is, the great "I AM".

| Jesus had to have given me the words because I so wanted to say something but didn't have a clue, then it came to me. He is so good and so real. I pray more and more people will come to believe.

| Some people believe that everything good that happens to them is from God, everything bad is from satan, or the devil, or some evil source. There is a book titled When Bad Things Happen to Good People. Well negative stuff happens to everyone, that is how we grow, and build our character. My sister had her leg amputated in 1976, a friend of mine was in a car accident this fall and will spend the rest of her life in a wheelchair, I was hit by a car 8 years ago.Just recently, friend of mine was pregnant and the baby died (full term) while still in her womb with the cord around his neck. His funeral was on his due date. The fact is that life turns on a dime, and we have no way of knowing what is in our future, if we did we might just have some sort of breakdown.

I think the bottom line regarding how the church became obsessed with sex originally, is because, they believe the original sin was perpetrated Upon adam through seduction.
OR
because it happened because ADAM wanted to Possess EVE.
One of the two.
not that it happened that way neccesarily, although I think Adam may have wanted posession Eve, that sounds about right. exclusivity may have been the original sin. the fruit of good and evil, that sounds correct to me.

| i have never heard of jewish fisting of daughters and google didnt show any either. however, jewish religion and christian religion are not the same. there are many people who hide in the church, give others a bad name, and yes we all fall short of the glory of God.
