Nope, don't think that is it. My brother is the big white hunter, and I was a quasi vegetarian until I got pregnant the first time LOL Yeah, he was the one that turned me into a vegan. Came home one day and went to get something from the garage. Tripped over those cut off legs in the dark looking for the switch, and got covered with blood. Went rushing to get out of there as I was about to toss my cookies, to come face to face with another dead pelt stretched out on somethingy. I swear everything I had eaten in the past year came up that day LOL

LOL I have ALWAYS said that I could more easily kill a person than an animal, because more of them have it coming. No argument there.

Didn't exactly say I didn't think it was right, just not for me. I know that animal populations have to be controlled and all, and hell yeah, I would pop off every raccoon I could get around here for attacking my kid. I just don't UNDERSTAND how you can ENJOY it. I understand liking to walk in the woods, but not the bloody parts of it all. Just trying to see WHY you guys ENJOY it. Not taking shots, just asking questions.

If you are teaching your kids killing is a good thing,I question your parenting skills.

This implies weak character. Most of you sound like demons. I do not find humor in watching an animal suffer from a gun shot then excited to go home and eat it for dinner.

No they were taken to a "slaughter house", throats slit, and then hung up to drain the life out of them, kicking and screaming, worse off than anyone would ever do while hunting them!!!

We hunters, don't stand over the animal gloating and watching till the last breath goes out of and shout "HOORAH", just for the fun of seeing something die... We kill it for some sport and the meat given to the neady who would starve otherwise, or we kill to put food on our tables for ourselves, and our families.
