Incorrect again. It was not God's first "commandment" to mankind, you seem to lack in your knowledge of scripture. I would suggest you start all over.
Wouldn't it be nice if you elected to enlighten us as to what God's first words/command to mankind were? You would certainly save me perhaps a lifetime of searching for myself if you would be so kind as to point out what it is I am missing.
I recall offering a chapter and verse for those to purview and decide for their self if this were indeed the first words/command to mankind according to their documented history.
I would also concur with you that I lack in understanding/knowledge of scripture; Yet, I do not stand alone in this as we all have a lack of knowledge and understanding.
Do we not?

| OK stings, Genesis, read it again. Very first commandment to man kind. It is plain as the nose on your face. hint: it is part of what started this particular topic. Yet again, there are those who will use scripture to defend their position, ignoring what conflicts with their statements, only accepting that which they want. Or take them out of the ocntext in which they were given. I will not give it to you directly, I want you to read ALL of what it says.
And NO. we ALL do not lack understanding/knowledge. Many do, but they do of their own accord. It is called lack of reading and learning.

Hey Brother Rich
In the bible that I read there are no spoken words to Adam from God other than the
Genesis 1 vs 28 and apparently this is true in your bible as well?
I think I will give up on this mystery. Perhaps ignorance is more blissful in this case

stings, because there are those Know It Alls, who do truly know Gods message to us and continuously seek it on a daily basis. Those who do not, tend to have issue with those who do beacause they do not fully seek God. They seek Only those parts they want to cling to and ignore the remainder. You yourself stings admitted you do not fully understand. Well you can if you want to. God did not close the door on you when it comes to gaining fuller insight into Him.
Example when we discussed Gods fist commandment to mankind. If one just took the time to simply read Gods message in its fullness, they would have known the answer. As I said it was as plain as the nose on ones face. One could not miss it.
With that, Gods message is a "complete" message, Not a partial message as many use it. His expectation, we adhere to ALL of what He gave us, whether we agree or not.
I noticed the nose on your face blocked you from viewing the first conversation that God had with man, with the conversation that you think that God had with man
You may envision that in verse 26 of Genesis 1 that God is commanding mankind when God states "Let them have Dominion". However, this is not so. This is a gift that God gives to man as God creates man in the next verses of Genesis.
My admitting I do not know all is a fact dear child, and one day you too will realize that your brain cannot entertain all the knowledge in the world either; you cannot possibly read enough in your life time to with-hold all the data. To think that you can is hilarious in itself

| The death that is spoken of, from eating from the tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, is a death of that species as a purely spiritual being.
It gave them the knowledge that they can manipulate the world, and that there were different ways of doing things, and they were therefore seperate from God, God is the state of being spiritually conscious, and the state of " Life" after they ate from the tree, is one of the egoic self.
It is Onvious as the nose on Elizabeths face.

You know, "Theanthropism" (n.) The ascription of human attributes to the Deity, or to a polytheistic deity.

Daily in my steps I do my best as being a Man of God to all things and people.
By this I share Peace and Love in all my interactions. And I do fail at times like evryone else fails in time.
However, I never entertained the concept of my being God of Man
