You can delete your post to a thread by going back to your post in that thread and clicking edit on that post and just clearing the copy. The post remains within the thread but it is blank. You cannot delete threads at all.

I'm making an edit to this post to show you what it looks like, but only I can edit my own post.

Ok look at the post that you just made and on top of the post (NOT THE THREAD) you will see the words flag post (wrong forum) etc. then to the side of that you see reply/edit but Edit only shows on YOUR post.

How long ago did you make the post?
I think you can only EDIT your OWN POST for a
certain time frame..24 hours?

You want to be really careful what you post...
you know it goes out into the GOOGLE WORLD index...
for anyone to see... including a future employer
or possible new friend.
they do not have to belong to DH to read your words.

Google your user name, and see what you
find about your own posts..
or google another user name,
and there it is...for the world at large.

Wine

When you post, look to the right...
under REPLY, there is the word EDIT..
as I just used EDIT to add this extra line...
