Hey, aboomer, it sounds like someone has pumped you full of the wrong ideas.
I know there are a lot of people out here like myself that you are too young for (or visa versa) but if "excess testosterone" is a problem for you, check out some of the women your own age. You may find that after having "gone through menopause" they will be free of some of the reasons they used to not be on the same thought path as you. JMHO
I wish for you and everyone that they could find the perfect friend for them on here. For myself, when I see someone post something that I like their way of thinking, I reach out to them in an email and tell them. In three short months, I have made 5 good female email friends, 3 good male email friends, and a man I have met that has possiblities and three men I have met that are becoming good friends. Who knows, maybe one of these friends will turn into something more.
I applaude you OP, for looking for friends first. It has worked for me.

| I noticed it is hard to find a friend on any of these dating sites, i have gotten some herendous mail that was quite insulting, being i go to church and am a Christian Woman, christian does not mean you are a doormat, to anyone man or woman...people are into playing to many games that i do not appreciate personally. i am not sure of these sites at all..i read a post it said girls dont give up i found my best friend here, well..
