Why do so many have to take what has BECOME a particularly distasteful thread and post to it over and over and over again. Add to it, subtract from it, put different spins on it, repeating over and over again that this one said that, that one said this. Just cant imagine anything at all that hasnt been said about it. Several times over. Im sure all know which thread and posts I am speaking about. A short heartfelt prayer from me to everyone else:

GOD IN HEAVEN, LET THESE PARTICULAR POSTS AND THREADS DIE FROM MALNUTRITION. PLEASE JUST LET EVERYONE PASS OVER ANY MORE POSTS ON IT REGARDLESS OF WHAT THEY MAY BE.

Thats the last I got to say about that.
Thank you
Jay

I hear you, Jay. If they can't keep something going on one, they try to let it spill onto another. We just won't let it happen!!

Good morning guys....

Amen Jay...sorry to say but there are those who simply thrive on drama and those that simply HAVE TO BE RIGHT...and will pound it into the ground over and over and over again. I thought it pretty telling, too, that the 50's had not seen much of the bickering, drama, etc., since some had "moved" into the 60's group - and apparently those involved in the recent drama "up" there were ones that were also involved in the same immature child-like crap when they were more active in the 50's...kinda makes one go "Hmmmmmmm??"
Oh, and while you're at it, could you include in your prayer those threads that are pretty lame and/or just plain stupid...where there are hardly any posts on it but the thread-starter and/or a "friend" sees the need to post a "thumbs-up" or a "thanks" to push it back to the top, where nobody really wanted it in the first place? Thanks..

Thanks Jay ..... This 50's group has been relatively quiet for a good period of time and I appreciate your coming in like you did and trying to maintain the peace .... Thanks again ....

Hma; Doesn't have to be a bad day if you just stay away from there! That's what I'm going to do! It's getting to be sick. I'm afraid to even peep in on it for fear that I'll get drawn in again. It's so sad.

Actually it's more than one thread! There are threads about the threads about the threads!!! Here in the 50's and 60's.

I feel the need to reiterate a part of what I said in my post above, and to piggy-back on something SassySherri said (correctly) in another thread (one, I feel, is an excellent example of what this thread was started for) - and that is: Keeping a thread going (being pushed to the top time 'n time again) by people who simply say "enough is enough" or "let's all please let this thread die"...when their posts saying that are the ones that WON'T let it die... On that particular thread I posted a "Let it die" post, which was my first and last post on that thread, and had several "I agree" posts after that which, again, keeps it "active"....Which made me wonder - Are there some that truly don't understand that posting something - anything - to a thread automatically pushes that thread back to the top? Could be...at least it looks that way - or there are simply some that don't get it...

This was a very good thread, Jay......and you wonder why some of us post less and less on here. Too much drama, and chaos, and I struggle to maintain peace and calm here in the real world, coming here to DH and finding more of the same ol' BS, must be why I seldom participate any more. And yes, threads that need to die, are not allowed to by "thumbing" them back to the top time and again.

Now I go off topic - I can't wait to meet you in person next month Jay, that is one special lady you have there
