| YES, there really is someone for everyone. It's just that that person might be 10,000 miles away or even married to someone else, not on DH or any other dating site, or possibly dead allready but he or she is/was out there.

| I think that there is a right person for everyone. I also believe that there can be more then one right person for someone. The reason I say this is because everyone comes into your life for a reason and unfortuantly that might mean they are the right person for right now. Is there a such thing as that fairytale love. NO.... If you think there is stop dreaming.Relationships are hard work no matter how great they are. If you cant work together and comprimise then it wont work.

| Is there someone for everyone? Unfortunately, I'd say no. Here's why:
yedjh wrote, "if . . . you both are willing to compromise and spend every day working out your problems . . . you have found your Mr. Right."
yedjh has learned her lessons well. More of us should attempt the same.
michalina wrote, "Relationships are hard work no matter how great they are. If you cant work together and comprimise then it wont work."
michalina is wise for her years.
The common theme is the willingness and ability to work together and compromise. Anyone who can't has no chance of a successful long-term relationship, IMHO. Thus, there is no potential partner that can work with such a person (that is, there can be no Mr or Ms Right for the person).
Obviously, there is the initial attraction, the inevitable re-valuation, the acceptance and adaptation of one's plan for the future, and then the actual implementation. Unfortunately, even if you can get through the first phases in one piece, the actual implementation necessarily requires working together and compromise. Therefore, these abilities are absolutely critical for any long-term relationship candidate(s).
As an aside, beware of anyone who is "too" eager to compromise early on, as it may be an indication that they will be unreasonble later. I think there must always be a consistent balance of give and take.

| yes the problem lies in what youre looking for: what you want, or what you need. You overlook a lot of orchids, if all you look for is roses

| you would have to ask yourself what is your purpose in relationship...
what is it you desire from relationship....?....? ...? ....?
any clues....? is it that you seek to be a.) employed ... b.) stay at home... c.) stay at home mom ..? d.) do nothing at all...and therefore kept by a man...?...what would you return to the relationship...?
ask yourself these questions...
what do you come up with...?
you will get what you need in the moment to show you who you are in respect to that relationship...who you are yourself...
comprendez...?
