tazzper23, nothing wrong with being honest and blunt. That would be me too. However, I've learned (took quite a few years also) that it is how it is said not that it is said. Instead of saying "You hurt me!!!" try saying "My feelings were hurt by your words." By saying "You hurt me!!!" you've place the person in a defensive mode. By turning the words you are mearly making a statement and making them aware of what they said was hurtful. They are least likely to jump on you because the feeling of attack isn't there. Like I said it took a long time to learn how to talk to people without making them wanna beat the crap out of me. Not that I am perfect at it. I still put my feet in my mouth once in awhile. But at least it's not a minute occurrence
