| She treats him like a child. She is so use to being Queen, she fails to realize that he should be treated as equal and not like one of her kids. This is true of every independent person, thats why its called INDEPENDENT, they don't depend on others so they want full control.

| Well....from my experience women who say they are all these things make the man in the relationship feel as if he's not needed. And...as a few women have said in this post....I don't need a man and any man who's afraid of strong women is a loser...etc...
In my opinion ladies...you need to get off the whole women's lib band wagon already and start relaizing that men for centuries has always been the hunter gatherer, the bread winner, the man of the house....blah,blah,blah. I'm not saying that you should give up being a strong, independent woman...all I'm saying is that the men in your lives need to feel like they're needed around just as women say they need to feel the same. If your contantly letting him know that he's LUCKY to have you...or that he's really NOT needed....then he's going to say BYE,BYE BABY...!!!
And the whole mindset of being a strong woman is all well and good...and I say more pwer to ya...but in love and relationships in general...MEN like to feel that they ARE needed and that you want them to take of you. Nothing is more of a turn on to a man than the ol'damsel in distress scenerio. SO...let him see that side of you more often...and let him know what a BIG STRONG MAN he is to you...LOL..!!! Have him open a jar every now and then and say "Oh my...what big muscles you have"...and trust me...he'll stick around alot longer...

| No thats not what independent means to me, I was raised to work and learn things so I could to things on my own, I was taught to take care of myself and save money ,no credit cards cash only,Im Strong because I had to figure out ways to buy things without help,and stand on my own feet even when I failed.get back up start all over never give up.I'd love to have a good man, But I can make it and do things myself because of my parents,Passionate for other ppl yes

| The only department where he needs to be a big strong man as you said in my oppinion is bed LOL!, Other than that everyone regardless of gender is capable of same things. Look at me, I'm a woman, and I work with Steinway, making pianos, not siting there somewher ein corner, but actually working with dangerous tools, with woods, and dont get me started on blacksmithing. So fellas, shove your pride of being hunters gatherers elsewhere, some women in this world do things you're too lazy to do.
