Is there anyone here who thinks Katrina victims got a better government deal the the victims of Rita? I know this might be considered an old subject, buy I have family who were involved in Rita and still fighing with the government, their insurance company, OH, and the IRS. Seems Katrina victims got much better deductions.

Just wondering...

No but I do remember Katrina and the Wave......I'm walkin' on sunshine- and don't it feel good.

Katrina and Rita- was that a sitcom on the Disney Channel- their pedophile uncle owned a hotel??? Maybe that was the movie Sliver, but I digress.....

btw- I fought with the government once and I quickly learned that they have more guns and troops than I do. And cheese, tasty govt cheese, mmmmmmmm Velveeta eat your heart out.

What was the question again???

heres a kick in the a** for ya..

Tennessee has been torn to pieces in the last few months with tornados.
the body count wasnt huge but thats because when they say duck and cover we do.. 39 people lost... There are still 20 missing..

100s and 100s of homes and businesses distroyed and the federal government just came threw again and decided there wasnt any need for distaster relief...

All those homeless families and no assistance..

Now you tell me do you think the way the government picks and chooses is fair?

No duh- really?? Thanks for the civics lesson Ms. Wizard- we now return to our regularly scheduled dating site- or we post this under politics or somewhere it might belong. That is unless someone is dating a FEMA employee perhaps.....

I'm not to sure , but IDK might be right. Its seams to me most the people that really did need the help haven't got any. and the ones that didn't have much damage are .

This government doesn't know what the hell is the right thing to do, we spend so much monies to help all these other countries, while right in out own neighbor hoods are starving children, and adults, people that are being evicted because that can afford the rent, its so damn high .

Send their children to school, in what clothes they have, which is not much, not much to eat at home, and most only get lunch at school .

We as Americans are , and have become lazy, and self centered, and that saddened 's me.

i hope all that need the help get it, but if they didn't have insurance then there LikeI was when we had a thief, Screwed ....JMO......Beach

Beach tornado insurance doesnt cover much.. Its extremely exspensive.. Kinda like flood damage.. I dont know about in the instance of a hurricane so cant speak there.

Insurance company's are dogs, they say oh you can't have a home if you don't have insurance.

Like back where I lived in Sc, after 1 yr I decided to change my home owners INS, they told me that they would have to come out take pics, and go from there, now mind you we have totally redid this home, gutted it out, not much to do on the out side, paid all this monies down, and then they tell us that the new porch we put on had to be painted, I had stated but was working, and hadn't had the time to finished it. So anyway they say you have got to paint all the out side trim, scrap it, and then paint it, this mind you wasn't bad at all but we had to do this or they would stop the insurance, and we would be in default of or contract with the bank, I'm like What are ya'll serious? They were, and gave us like one week to doo all this, and this wasn't a little home, two story too....Damn blood sucking bastards..... LOL

the really funny thing is... We live on the lake... Way more likely for someone to fall in that than the pool.. Dumb f**kers.
