I agree with "ladyinparis".
If you still love her, why can't you give her one more chance, everyone deserves a second chance, unless of course things happened that are unforgettable, then that would be a tremendous hardship on the relationship. Whatever your decision is, I wish you the best!

| I do not believe in love on the first date............
A true relationship is built from friendship, trust, honesty and respect. You can't get all of that on one date. JMO

| There is absolutely no question you can fall in 'love' the second you see someone. The mind is unbelievably powerfull. Why fight it?
If you have been lucky enough to ever have experienced falling in love on a first date will know what I mean. Heck, I fell in love one time that lasted about 10 seconds, she smiled and was missing her front teeth. That love didn't last long. Say, if you are missing your front teeth don't fret there are a lot of good southern boys that will love you. Jeesh am I getting myself in trouble here? I have feeling this is a post I wish I could delete
Time will determine if the instant 'love' endures the trials and tribulations that come with any relationship. I think most people fight the feeling of falling in love quickly because they dread being hurt so it is somewhat a learned reaction to resist.

| If you fall in love at your first meeting, next thing would be to see if you like the person. You can love someone and not like their ways thats where the time factor comes in.

| I believe you can fall in love at first sight ,the mind set is the key (fry said it perfect)I met my wife one day ,she went home with me and never left until she passed away 14 yrs later , most people quit everything hard , and love is a challange , you must work at it,and not give in

| Who knows what love is? Who defines it? Websters? If someone makes you smile, then the world is better for it! As long as you feel and you are entitled to do so, go with it. If it ends, then what have you lost? A moment in your life?If it lasts, what have you gained? A lifetime of memories and laughter!Life is short. It's nothing but a series of moments. Live yours as best you can. Never regret not having followed your heart.

| A question to Pluckon,
does that mean that man are more prone to fall in and out of love very quickly?
Since in your case it was more visual, would that be called love or lust?

| I do believe men are much more visual than women in general and thus more likely to be lustful. There are women I have known that were prone to lust but I do believe that is somewhat rare?
So I think it is pretty common for a guy to 'fall in love' virtually instantly based on visual stimulas... Wasn't it Jimmy Carter while president say that he felt lust when looking at 'Playboy'? I think that happened
I also believe as we mature, falling in 'love' / 'lust' still happens to a point but we are more aware, and thus, don't let it control us.
Damn nothing better than looking at a good looking woman - Oh and by the way - for me anyway - I like the total picture of a woman not just her being naked..... The inner person comes out in pictures... I like the smile or the eyes or the lips or....
