I've been on line all morning procrastinating.... I have a pile of bills sitting on my dinning table... Screaming PAY ME!!!!!!
I just started working five weeks ago.. I made a whopping $800.00 bucks... after they took out money for my uniform.
My car insurance is due... $500.00.... That leaves me with $300.00.
I gross $912.00 a month. - $40.25 gas a week x 4 = 161.00 a month.... just to go to work.
That leaves me with $751.00 a month... Rent is $635.00... Leaving me with $116.00 big dollars... My medication is another $100.00 a month.. which I need but havent bought this month.
And my untilities ... can be anywheres from $140.00 a month to $200.00 depending on the season....
The hell with food.., yet I do get help in this area.
I'am employed by three different in home health care agencies... for 12 hours of work on Fridays and Sundays... but they call me to work Saturdays when I visit with my son... or on days I can't work... Or for individuals they want me to care for who live 60 miles away for two hours ... I'd waist more gas than I'd earn.
Now I have to worry about CHILD SUPPORT... isen't it adjusted to how much income you make? He makes $36.00 an hour plus overtime.... I make what $8.00? And no overtime. DAMN!!!! He got everything... I really believe he wants me to go insane.
I wish something would fall in my favor soon... like a full time job with overtime... so I won't have to work two... At least one that would cover my cost of living.. Damn I have to work a second job just to put gas in my car for the first job..
PAY ME... PAY ME... PAY ME... oh my Freaken Head...
I don't want to live in my car or one the streets.... I just got over Breast Cancer... there isen't a lot of real physical jobs I can do... Is there anyplace I can go for help?
Before I go insane?

Wow cece sounds dire to me. I don't know anything about any kind of Social Services where you live. Don't let it take you down too low.

Good luck.

START A CLEANING SERVICE, DO YOU LIVE NEAR A COLLEGE OR ANY WHERE THERE ARE RICH PPL AND ARE THERE CLEANING SERVICES IN THE PHONE BOOK? I know it is a sucky job but when you are the boss! I went from being in project housing to owning my own house, now I don't clean but it is the easiest fastest and cheapest way to make real money!

Can you type? What about an office job? Or call center work. Babysitting, there are a lot of things that don't require physical labor. Why are you paying child support? Why don't YOU have your kids? You can also go back to court and have the amount your paying changed. What about food stamps? Churches and social services that give food and help pay utility bills. Shop at Goodwill, and the bent and dent grocery stores. Buy food that stretches. Cheap to make a big pot and eat for a few days. Have anything to put on Ebay? What about a yard sale? Consignment stores for your stuff you don't want.

Yes, I've been there and felt like I could not make it, but every time I get there, I pray and I give it to God and he always sees me through. ALWAYS....
I spend 20 bucks a day on gas!!!!

You'd make more money working at the worst dive of dive coney island in madison heights than what you're making at your current job. Look into waitressing, even A&W you'd make more, and a free meal, maybe two with munchin along the day. Walmart, Target, SamsClub all have medication for anything someone would need for $4.00 a script, if yours is not on the list, have your doctor change it to what's on their lists, go pick one up. If your X makes that much get those kids or kid back and the child support you get would cover about everything. You say you've been working for only 5 weeks, how were the bills getting paid before that, continue to seek that venue? THEN go back to school, start with a quick fix vocational course for a job that at least pays 10-15 to start..

OMG cece, YOU MUST get your meds...there is a way to get help and it isn't called wellfare, it is through the manufacturers. See if you qualify...bet you do. Do NOT go without something you must have!! Dad was a diabetic and he often went w/o so we could eat...we were, and I still am, farmers...poor. I feel so bad as he died early because of that and in those days there wasn't help from manufacturers.

Copper gave some good advise...Add to that WIC which I believe is county sponsered, firehouses here have "soup" days where you can buy a boatload homade for next to nothing, consignment shops (sorry if you did say that copper) and finally the churches in your area.

curious, you are right for a new career there is a government sponsered and paid program called careerlinks...check it out - cost to you nothing AND they will help you get other services.
