It seems to have a stigma to it. The idea of older men and younger women, at least maybe the "perception", seems to be one of negativity. Sometimes, it almost feels like that if a woman is with an older man, there must be something wrong with her or him. Is age really a factor here (within reason)? I am 40, and not looking for an 18 year old, but c'mon.

Are we worried about what people might think or say about being with someone older or younger? Is it really that bad? I am curious to here the input from both sexes.

I don't go by age but by how mature a man is. People will always think what they want. Where is it written that a man has to be this age and woman has to be this age in order to be together??? I've never seen it but it's like it's an unwritten rule.

My only two relationships were with older men but they didn't look that old, my son's father is 38 and the other one is now 40!!
I never worried about what people thought about it...
She's right about the level of maturity it just seems that even men my age are still sort of on a different level still, not all so don't get mad guy's...
