| It seems I keep reading forums (not only on this site) where people are complaining about their husbands, wives, significant other etc and I find myself asking why they are on a dating site? Is that supposed to fix their problems? Then there are the permenantly separated people? I know sometimes finances prohibit a quick divorce but I, myself, seek to date someone who is actually single. Is this possible in this day and age?

i dated while i was seperated and i don't see a problem in doing so.i had my papers and i'd offer them if i needed to.
on sites as this,you'll run across many who are here just for friends or the forums.i know a few personally who only come here for advice on their current relationship.to me,that says a lot about them.anybody is welcome so you'll have to do some sifting.good luck.

| I sure am...my girlfriend of six years desided she missed out on being a college girl getting drinks from guys and giving her number out to strangers...so she wanted an "open relationship" I get to still be the caring sudo-boyfriend who drives her around and makes sure she gets home safe along with shopping and when she wants to have loveless sex with her...how wonderful (eye-roll) so I said no way in hell...now I am single. Cheers to six wasted years!

| I am very single, I haven't been on a real date in a long time, my last boyfriend didn't even take me out, cause he was broke, but money doesn't matter as long as I am happy with whomever I am with. I don't know if I will find it here or somewhere else..but I want to find Mr. Right, I have matured alot in the past year, and grown up so fast, I don't feel the need to go out and "sleep" around. I Don't mind going on dates tho..lol but guys always end up thinking just because they took you out that you need to at least give them head?? hmmmmm I know not all guys are like that!!!

Thanks for the responses, I guess I am kind of weary of the separated as my sister dated someone separated and after marrying him and being with him for six years, he left her to go back to his first wife. I know this is not the norm but I guess for me personally, single means not married, not separated but single. But, LOL I shouldn't worry, not having much luck finding anyone to even talk to no less date. Agree with u who said u appreciate you cat more, I have two of them and they are great company. LOL
