| First approach: I'm the oldest participant I see here ...and I was very reluctant to make an
approach or answer one received. A lot depends on the profile I read. Recently?? widowed? divorced? I always reply when approached to say thanks but no thanks maybe long distance prohibits, age difference, something I really might not tolerate. But I am on the site to be seen and kind enough to at least say thanks. It's always good to pick an item of interest, for some discussion if you are really interested in that tall, dark and good looking man or that lovely grey haired smiling(fla)lady. flalady4

| I am also very hesitant to send anyone an email. I am not sure why - perhaps my old fashioned upbringing? I was always taught that the girl should wait for the guy to make the first move. I know times have changed but I am having a difficult time overcoming this.
