| I've read through this thread, there's alot of good answers. There's alot of ppl out there that like to play games. You have to remember that. It makes it hard for the other people to be taken as genuine. Sometimes you have to have a thicker skin and keep that in mind. Don't be so hard on yourself. In my experiences, I've met alot of players, and to me if you think highly of yourself and in your heart you know you're a good person, than that's THEIR LOSS. It all comes down to a person's integrity. Do you really want to know someone in the first place that's like that HELL NO!

| I'm sorry ladies but I dont agree that having someone begin talking with you and stop is a game. We are internet dating. The "interview" process consists of:
View a picture
Send an email
Get an email back
Send another email
Get another email back...
During this process, at any time if the emails received are NOT what the person who made the contact is looking for, they will simply stop responding.
Also, remember that these men are getting contacted by quite a few women - the ratio has changed...there are now more single women than single men...so men have the ball in their court. These men are getting attention like they have never received in their WHOLE LIFE. They are like a kid in the candy store. So at any time, you can be put on the "no longer interested" pile merely because someone just slightly more attractive began talking to them.
*shrug*
Its just the nature of the beast.

| I think everyone has a comfort zone. If you come in too close.. too strong they might feel like they have to run to avoid being smothered/tackled. I wonder if you kept it superficial kept it on the fringes.. waited for signals to proceed.. keep it casual till you're pretty sure you want more and you feel they do too.. Move ahead slowly in a mutual way.
I"m sure I'm only seeing this from one perspective tho. (not sure i can define which perspective)
I think too a "man" in this case .. might want to get into someone's pants.. and maybe is assessing the possibility's. Seeing none gives up and tries somewhere else. leaving you feeling a bit empty and used. (actually this is probably a good thing, that they left that is)
regardless of the reasons. I'd go the cautious route in the future. Tread lightly so you don't step on anyone's toes. Including your own. I'd try to not have any reason to care.. what someone's motives might be.. until i know what their motives are.. if that makes sense.
