| I'll just throw this out....Whiskey Creek in Old Town (Wichita) has a back room that can accommodate about 20 people and its free. Or if weather is nice, how about Sedgwick County Park? That's free also if you don't want a shelter

| sounds like it might be fun, not trying to put a damper on it, but two months ago had a lot of medical bills $$$$$$, so money is a little tight, would be great but need to try to factor in cost to help make it happen, still would like to give it a shot any more ideas will help, will keep checking here, thanks

| Was just in Wichita Saturday. My son took me to the chuckwagon buffett, and old town. I think either of these places would be a good meeting spot. Any one else?
I'm thinking old town square, north side by the theater. Around 3pm. Any one want to can stop by and say hi. See you there.

| It looks like I am not going to be there on Saturday. I have to work on a project that can only be done while there are not people around, so Saturday is the best day. I hope everone will still meet up, I ask my son to drop by and tell me how things went.

| I am from Salina KS, we have a singles dance every month that attracts single men and women of all ages. You all are most welcome, It is held at the American Legion and people of all ages attend. The best band in Kansas will be there in September. The men and women drive from all over, Hays, Concordia, etc. Hope to see you all there in September as the band puts on a show as well, they have an Elvis impersonator and lots of other acts as well-------however if you are easily offended by riskay hope i spelled that right please do not come however if you enjoy fun and laughter you will enjoy this show.

| I am from Salina KS we have singles dances on the first Sat of every month we are centrally located and every one is welcome to attend it is at the American Legion and it would be a good meeting place for all singles on date hookup. It starts at 8 you can car pool as many do that attends from out of town.

| There is a HUGE get together/BASH planned for around Aug 21 or so at Stockton Lake down in Misery..umm Missouri. Gonna be between 20 and 70 people there from all over the country. I know of people coming down from New York , and people driving from Nevada. It's gonna be the party of the century. I already went down there the first of this month for a mini 1 day meet. My love flew in from Wash. State to stay with me for a week, and we drove down to meet 2 guys from Carthage, and one more drove in from Ark.
With the ever increasing gas prices, it's getting expensive to drive anywhere. I think a central location in Kansas would be a neat idea. Richard and I are in Overland park..this is fairly central LOL.
If I had stayed in Lawrence after finishing grad school there, I would have been more likely go to to the Bash. However, as is, I have training on the Saturday of that weekend, so the Bash is out. Maybe I'll go to a Bash in the future, which will give me another reason for visiting KU again
