| To me there has to be at least a spark, and then you have to find ways to make it grow. If there is no spark,It wouldn't matter how much respect or power or money you have. I gotta feel something.And I cant be pushed, you'd only push me away. And if you get ahead of me, I will take a different road and leave you behind.
Your girl.... Maybe she doesn't know what she wants. or maybe she doesn't feel anything for you. You wouldn't want her to lie.And you probably wouldn't want to be with someone that isn't attracted to you.However she shouldn't take this long to let you know.
As far as being large and your looks. I think this goes for woman as well as men. I have a large sister. And she has better luck with large men.Not saying large men should only date large woman or vis versa. but we should look at are selves and see if we might need to adjust are own standard to better suit are self. not only a match intellectual but physical and spiritual as well.

| I want to be honest, I read the question and NOT the posts.
The answer is simple to me...You don't light her fire...She was dating a past person, not the new and improved or whatever man. The bottom line is It is so nice to relive memories and be comfortable with you, and than go into the real world as opposed to not having a PERSON to sit and eat popcorn with at all...Does that make sense to you???
Anyone is better than No one and a personal relationship from the past is better than just anyone - except for a lover!! JMHO

| I think that this is yet another topic that is NOT gender related. I think I'm a nice woman, yet I get told the same darn things from the guys. I am fully aware that I am not the most attractive woman out there, but I also know that I am not butt ugly either. I have a great personality, I'm kind, and I'm honest.
There isn't much you can do or say when it comes to the "just friends" catagory. If you want to be their friend, great. But being their friend only also constitutes sometimes telling them...."I DON'T WANT TO HEAR YOU B*TCH ABOUT IT ANYMORE".
Trust me, a few people changed their tunes once I stood up for myself. Perhaps that's what you need to do as well. If people think they can keep you around when they don't have someone else...biding their time until someone else comes along, they are not respecting you, and you are allowing them to dis-respect you.
Just something to think about & my opinion, of course.

| Okay...here goes. If a lady says she wants to just be your friend, she means that she is not romantically interested in you. She may like you and enjoy being with you but that's it. If I can be a little judgemental here, may I suggest that you try to lose some weight since you yourself mentioned that it's a turnoff for the women. And, please, purchase a pair of glasses that are more in style these days...large frames are out! Your features are quite nice, but you destroy the look with those glasses. Sorry, but I expect that you wanted the truth (My personal opinion, of course)
