Q: Have you ever received Emails/Messages or "winks" and chose NOT to reply?
Have you ever felt/seen the repercussions because of it?
Well... obviously I have. After reviewing my previous posts & noticing that a few negative responses came from those I chose not to respond to ~ it became apparent. The assailant's way of lashing back is to either attempt to "bash" you in the posts or send nasty emails to both you or "other" members.
Childish but seemingly affective.
So my advice to you is.... Go with your gut instincts. It works every time. 
On the brighter side of the spectrum, I have also received a lot of good/real messages ~ to make up for the nasty ones. Maturity & security is always welcomed.

| Good lady... go with the GUT..... I just block and delete  the good ones are worth keeping in touch with even if there is NO spark
or they end up being head cases 
I am still hoping for more responses for a DH party on O'ahu

I do however like the AA gun’s idea. 
I thank you both for your encouragement & support.
Not looking for sympathy just needed to let out a rebel yell! Perhaps this is the reason why these guys are “searching to find the one answer” or "the perfect mate”. Some poor woman with no goals, independence, brains, intellect, education or self-respect. Ya think? Good luck to 'um.

AA gun is wonderful
Tough day.. one of the regular DHer's on 50's group is doing really bad had a majore stroke and the lady he had hooked up with let us know... many tears have been shed today for both of them. They met in person and really hit it off. This is off topic but please if you could keep Joe (truthfulheart) and anne in your prayers..... They are both really wonderful people. The Doctor has stated tha Joe will never regain his memory. He does not even recognize his children has lost his speach and sooo much more. His daughter has deleted his profile off of this site.. but anne is still here.

| In my perfect world, brother Joe would come out of this slowly, remembering and responding to his family's love, regaining speech and motor skills, and finding lasting friendship rekindling into what was meant to be. (Kind of like the "While you were sleeping" movie) That would be so right. I don't know if its just this gloomy day, that heartbreaking story, or the fact that in my life, I know "I" take far too much for granted.
Much love and prayers are definitely with you Joe, and your family. And hope for the best for both of you, Anne. Although I haven't meet you yet, I'm deeply saddened by your setback.
Life, friendships, and love, are far too fleeting and fragile to let it slip away. Value your family, Friends, and loved ones, and let them know how much you care. Get well soon Joe.

Ok back to winks blinks and nods....
Me I look at the profile of the winker and make an intant decission... usually delete.. if they don't have much to say in the profile then don't know if he is a scammer or not... even if a profile still have to be careful. If I feel the need I do block..

| In the past 4 months I have learned that our online way of communicating has been hilariously an experience never to forget.
They continue to persist, insist, change their profiles and message other member’s (with payback as the intent).. Yet always attempting to come atcha with the same old come on’s or rejected attacks. (Befriending other members attempting to isolate you). All this for NOT wanting to communicate with them. Imagine….. Grown a** adults behaving like children. Even in the beautiful state of Hawaii.

| I have to agree this is quite an experiance.... I hope this person is not still bothering you. and I do hope he is not the one I delt with on maui... I have made friends... reconnected with an old HS class mate Had a friend die and another one with a depilataing stroke. This may be a cyber life but we all have to remember that the person typing on the key board is human. With feeling... hopes.... Dreams..... I hope that I have found the one..... not sure when we will meet.... but getting past the keyboard and reaching out to each other is what this is about.

As for me mauibabe ~ SELFISHNESS, ignorance (Fear of the unknown), past scars that psychologically haven't healed yet. Not to mention the complicated emotional factor/'s that have stained the pages throughout the history of our online masquerade parties. People just can't seem to get it! Dam if you do and dam if you don't.
PONO ~ HO'O PONOPONO. If one is able to heal one's self ~ Beginning with the pu'uwai (heart) then I believe we would be able to live in a better world (both online & offline). No head games, competition etc....
Who am I but just an average person who's spiritually grounding began at conception.

| PONO ~ HO'O PONOPONO is a wonderful healing power.... Yes we all need to heal before we can move forward successfully. The healing process is different for everyone. The best advice I have recieved and want to pass on is this "Shouda, wouda, if onlys DONT count" What has happened is in tha past you can not go back. cry when you need to and know thery are HEALING tears... Laugh often... As a widow one of the books I was given from the funeral home stated... Cry! if you can't then put on a movie that makes you cry these are healing tears... then put on a movie that makes you laugh so hard it hurts... This is really good advice...... You have a friend here on Maui....
