| You brought back some memories there. Growing up in the 1950's, I had a friend who developed rheumatic fever.
It was treated by a "year in bed" in those days. She was given a full Lionel Train set, and I was so jealous when
I visited her.

| Not any more, got rid of Lionel stuff years ago and went to "N" scale. I've built a better layout with the smaller scale. You can do a lot on a 4 X 8. John

| I was always more fascinated by the larger scales, and had plans to start with an LGB kit this year, but then I found out the company recently fell prey to Chinese manufacturing like all the others, and decided it was a hobby I could do without.
