| In my view love only grows with shared experiences. it starts with attraction, and then MAYBE lust, but for it to grow into love it takes sharing the good, the bad, the everyday mundane of living. So, until I've shared enough mutual experience, I don't make the decision to become in love, and only then, I tell my partner that I love them.

| When my son say's I Love you..my heart feels warms and soars. I smile and say I'm the luckiest mommy in the world.
When my girlfriend say's I love you....I know just how deep our friendship is.
Everyone else...I just smile and say.... well at least for today you do, then laugh.

| I have a whole different take on the "I love you". I think you can love someone but not be in love with them.. I can really love someone just as a person, but not be in love with them. The flip side of that, someone told me that and I laughed and said yeah right? You don't even know me.. Is it love or is it lust?????

| I think ladyvirtue obviously put forth a very thought provoking question. I am reading a few hostile reactions to the word sadly...
Me, I honestly don't know what I would do...because I really hate hurting people.
