| Another thread in the sex and dating forum asking if you have lied by saying I love you..brought this question to mind: My question is: when you hear I love You for the 1st time in a close romantic relationship, and you're not on that level just yet..how do you respond? What would you say in response? Would it scare you off or would you feel accepting of it?

| Depends on how long this relationship has been going on. Hearing it too soon would make me kinda suspicious. I guess I'd have to say, Thats nice, I love me too

| If I feel the same way I would probably melt first, hug closely, kiss passionately and tell the lady I felt the same way. If not yet I don't know.
Even though I have had some relationships that didn't last I guess the romantic in me is always willing to make the plunge. It may not be as deeply each time but if I am feeling it I would be right there saying it.

| I want to throw up  when I hear those words at all, there is not love out here anymore and people need to realize this world is a game now and love is not longer wanted or needed. sorry i have a f*cked up attitude about love but life has made it this way.

| lova girl, what has happened to you to make you so cynical on life and love. obviously you are hurting. Do you have anyone you can talk 2? you can talk to me, Im all ears and have a big shoulder. I hope you get to feeling better about love...sometimes it hurts, I know, but when you find it again it can be soooo wonderful, even better than before..Chin up think possitive and move forward...

| I cannot bring myself to say the words "I love you". I have some cynical ideas about the word LOVE, and insist that the greeting card companies made that word up for all the Valentine cards and Anniversary cards in order to boost sales.
I know that if I was to find my man, to complete my life for good, I would most likely be able to start using the word.

feelings coming from the heart.Thats the word that is still missing in my life.

| the last time i heard those three little words from a prospective mate, she totally caught me off guard. i had no idea she felt this way, and i didn't react all that well. i kinda freaked out a bit. apparently, the love she had for me was fleeting, and i came to the realization that she really didn't mean it either. however, i have learned how to handle that type of situation, if it should ever arise in the future. live and learn, right?
