kegleaves Mount Juliet, TN age: 30	Ok Duncan's ear surgery is a week away... Even though I know its all cool and nothing is gonna go wrong Im still scared to death for him.. But what are mommies for if not to worry and try to keep you safe... Hes a bit snotty and hasnt been sleeping Im thinking about takin him in tomorrow or this afternoon just to make sure its just sinuses.. We really dont need to put off this surgery and they wont do it if he is sick.

She was crawling and she would get caught in her dress and he would catch up.. Sooo cute I do need some prayers for one of my little girls from church. Kendal will be a 3rd grader this fall and when she was my student in sunday school her mom was battling breast cancer.. Well it has come back and taken over Cindys whole body.. She has 2-4 weeks left... I have been crying for three days... I love that family and would never want anything to happen to any of them.. This precious little girl is gonna loose her mommy soon and We are gonna have to join together to help her make it through this. [Edited 5/27/2008 8:35:12 AM]

kegleaves Mount Juliet, TN age: 30	Ok We have all of our PreOp stuff out of the way.. Thursday morning 6am we will be at the hospital for his tubes to be placed. Just keep him your thoughts please.. I know this isnt a big deal but still.. Here he was playin saturday night in the sandbox

luvinlifetou Biddeford, ME age: 42	Awww honey..Im so sorry..It IS a big deal, for a parent..any time your child has to have a procedure...I dont care if its just a shot!!!!!!!! I went through that with my first.. its scary I know.. but the tubes were a miracle...no more ear infections!!!!! no more pain, fevers.. the hardest part is letting them take your baby away for the operation... But.. KNOW THIS.. this is a very minor surgery... they do thousands of them.. his worst problem will be the grogginess from the anesthesia... He will be okay honey!!!!!! I swear! I have assisted in at least 20 of these before I switched to rehab nursing, and its harder on the parents then the child, I swear! He will be so relieved of the constant ear pain and infections! My prayers and thoughts are with you..I know how hard this is, but please believe me... Not only did I go through it with mine before I was a nurse, but now that I am a nurse...I know exactly what happens in there...and its nothing major! Im sorry you have so much, grateful for all I have, it certainly makes my petty concerns small when I hear about something like this... and anything, anything I can do..
