| Ok here is what the doc said......
His right ear still looks horrible.. It has reruptured.. We are now on yet another antibiotic and if it doesnt look better by thursday then he will get antibiotic shots and be sent directly to an ent.
As for his cheek he has formed a mild case of eczema and we will treat it with antibiotics, lanolin and hydrocortizone.

| Oh how I remember those high fever, ear infection walking the floor nights when I cried, too. Bless his little heart and mama's. I pray the tubes will do the trick and the antibiotics do their work and he is feeling happy and playful again soon.

| I know I think Ive cried more than he has... Hes always just soo happy. He didnt even cry at the hospital.. Didnt cry at all til day three and that was because he wasnt gettin enough milk from me and I fixed a bottle and he stopped.. Then I cried for 3 days because I could make enough for him.. I did pump and give that to him for the first 6 months but still only made enough for him to have a 6 ounce bottle of breast milk a day.

| I hope he gets better soon, as adults we all know how painful an earache is to us, I hat to think how painful it is to the babies.
An earache will send me to the doctor quicker than anything, except a toothache.

| Keg I know how you feel - my daughter had them for her first 3 yrs of life over and over again....well she had tubes put in - well they are so small that you don't even know when they come out....well anyway I finally got referred to a plastic surgeon by my family doctor and he removed her adenoids - and from that day forward she never had another problem.
I used to have to sleep sitting up in a recliner every night and hold her just so she didn't lay down flat....needless to say I had to go to work at 5am everyday....so I didn't get any sleep - but she did and that's all I cared about.
