| OK, gotta give my situation, I have three younger kids, and a full time job, kids are with me quite a bit when I am not working, so just jumping up on a friday and runnin out is a NOGO. A sitter is tough enough to get with two weeks notice let alone two hours.

| Wow...I really don't think it is all that complicated. A far distance is safe and does not require any kind of commitment. Close means we would actually have to do something, such as stop posting on this web site and make a commitment to meet. So we become attracted only to those who live far away.
If all goes well in the next few minutes on the phone I may have something to share.

| Distance becomes a problem only when you set your search parameters too far from your home. Keep your search in tight and someone will pop up. I know, it's hard to stop looking at all of the eye candy out there but, get real and get serious if you are really looking for a partner.  .

| but wouldn't it be better to find some close to home?? why search far away when you know that meeting up is a long shot and could be a waste of time. Is it that people are afriad to just go straight up to someone you see walking down the street and ask if they would like to join you for a cup of coffee or something?

My situation is this I only hook up with people with in 1hr of myself,but even that seems to have a fear factor involved. Others are saying its safer to converse with others far away because its safer,no comitment, and some think some people are just playing with our heads.....Sorry Trustme he has that ever popular I have (I'v been there) kids and thy come first.I feel for you. Find a good sitter,Junior college,early childhood ED majors..!

| Ive met someone on here that only lives 40 miles from me and we still cant seem to get together!We talk on the phone at least once a day but things just seem to not let things happen .We both have 3 kids that we most of our time so I think thats alot of it.The kids always come first no matter what so it does make it kinda hard.

But it seems you are all mostly from around Dallas or Austin or Houston and from around parts of North Carolina and Arkansas.
So, because I live in the New York City area, I shouldn't meet anyone on this site except for New Yorkers?
Unfortunately, I have found that the most interesting men to me are from other places.
