to me, no matter what situation it may be-if a man can cry it just shows that he does have a heart!

which my opinion is a very GOOD thing!

NO cry babies though

I agree with dcb75, what the heck is he crying for DURRING sex?! I mean after is one thing, ok you both wanted it you got it,enjoy it then vent, cry, clean-up, take a pee, make an omlet, have a smoke but, you don't usually have a discussion of any kind that doesn't include, yeah like that, turn over, youre gonna make me... well you get the point.
No it don't make him less than a man, communication is verry important and so is sharing your feelings but, we wouldnt be on this subject if we all didnt feel a little wierd about the timming! Famous line....THERES NO CRYING IN BASEBALL! Hell I've had 13 stitches under my eye from taking one awefully hard & Tom Hanks' line was true, I didn't cry, but I'll cry about some sappy shit, and maybee even things like this but, NOT "DURRING" SEX! Enjoy the moment, don't F it up. If a woman started crying & talking 'bout i'm sorry and stuff well, might as well call it a smurf in a matter of minuites!!

Anyway, notice guys how these women perked up on THE ROCK? Jeez girls, calm down, that don't fix anything, I know, I have been used.

Silly rabbits, trix are for kids!

Oh by the way, I heard John Wayne was GAY!?

I think the last time I cried was during a move called "We Were Soldiers" with Mel Gibson. Has anyone seen it?

stan - fyi... A ring would never solve any problem for me. Actions speak louder than words. I know it wouldn't work on my friend either.

Depends on how and why he was cryin'. We have a guy at work that's always cryin' around like a little girl. That makes the co-worker a girly - man. If this guy lied, the first time is the hardest. Comes pretty easy after that. His cryin' isn't really the important issue here. JMO

hehe

i dunno..

admitting mistake +
apologizing +
crying =
begging? -

the begging part I'm not sure I'd associate with a positive thing. I mean begging is manipulating.. it's trying to influence your decision on your feelings instead of with your mind.. taking advantage of your compassion and empathy. That's self serving.. not giving .. that's trying to take advantage of...

I don't think anyone.. should ever beg.. they shouldn't have to.. not in a relationship. If they get what they wanted by begging.. then it wasn't given freely.. and might not be around long.

we're all human.. I'm sure I've done some begging myself.. but that's what i think about it.

Tears clearly make no one less of a man. Don't you think "us" Marines have shed a lot of tears over our brothers lost,...and the love lost between ourselves and THEIR families? But cheeting is an entirely different story. There really is NO legitimate argument for it. Even in a poor relationship,..it IS possible to break up first, BEFORE going into a relationship THAT close. Unless of course,...that's ALL someone requires. But can that alone,..really be called a "relationship"?

Nope, and its time that we as a society understand that men have emotional feelings as well as female. We are no robotic machines

Harley you probably know how I feel on this. All the men out there I think missed the point. I cry too. It doesnt make me less of a man. The point is he broke the MOST important thing in any relationship. And that is trust. It takes a lot to build it up and one moment to destroy it. He says he's sincere well as you put it action speak louder than words. Let him prove he wont lie again. Everyone deserves a chance ( unless they are abusive.) She needs to find within herself if she can forgive him ,but not forget what was done. If she decides to forgive him move on. But the trust has to be rebuilt and he has to do it by his actions. All the rings , flowers, candy, romance and even crying will not solve that. Prove it. And again she has to be willing to forgive him. If he does it again though he's done.
good thread though Harley. Its definately food for many of us to think about.
I dont lie its a waste of time for me. Besides even if I did lie and no one found out. I would know and that I couldnt live with myself for that. JMO

only two things make me cry. the death of a loved one, or getting rejected by a woman on this site.
